Minor Miracles

Alls I gots to say is that my class dean needs to be canonized. And she's getting a huge bouquet of flowers next week.

The bad news: three more days of slaving.

The good news: I get three extra days to slave!

I think I want an authentic hachimaki for a graduation present, preferably in red, but black will be good too.. *hint for harinezumi*

a nap now, I think, then back to work, then the midnight show of Ferris Bueller at Cinefart, then back to work.

Incidentally, I discovered something - I used to have a serious problem with coffee consumption, namely that it made me so anxious and jumpy that I swore off it for a while. I've been drinking it again out of necessity and I noticed I'm not getting the bad panicking jittery crapola this time around. The only thing I've done different is start drinking it without sugar. Eeeeenteresting.

okay. Sleep now, so I don't hallucinate the phone ringing anymore. Then back at it. I am NOT going to let this semester conquer me, damn it.

more good/bad about today.

The good: hovering just on the cusp of 80 degrees, perfectly cloudless, with a cool breeze. The sort of day that almost demands iced tea and mint juleps, and the sunshine is benevolently reflected from the open faces of a few dozen different types of flowers.

The bad: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh! The pollen! IT BURNS!


Can't trees find a less misery inducing way of reproducing than ejaculating large yellow clouds o' sperm into the the air and thus directly into my eyes??? I mean, come on, even human sperm stings when you get it in your eyes. Sheesh.
