eight years ago today, I did one of the scariest things EVAR.

I told the girl I loved her.

Not that she didn't know this already mind, but before that, I was too scared to actually do it. I mean... this was the first time I officially admitted having a massive crush on another girl, and of course considering we had just gotten to Smith and hadn't quite absorbed the "Lesbians! Fuck yeah!" air to the place... it was pretty scary. But she was like, "oh, honey, is that all it was?" and gave me a hug so everything was ok. And... it still is.

Happy anniversary, sundart. I love you.

According blogthings I am 60% Libra. The only reason I'm not posting the quiz is that there's a sloppy HTML error in the code that's autumatically generated, which has the potential to send people's friends list pages to hell and fuckadoodledoo.

Amusingly enough, also according to blogthings, I refer to my girlparts as my "heart shaped box." Uh-huh.

Anycrap - jeezopete it's gorgeous out there. Sunny and I have scrapped our original plans of staying, well, inside all day (heh) in favor of going out, possibly seeing the Incredibles, but we haven't decided on that, but definitely there will be Chilis. Mmm, Chilis...

Oh, BTW - new default icon. Gotta love it.

spoils of love (not war)

Mmm, chilis. Ate way too much, but man, it was gooooooooooooooo00ooood. sundart has this theory that they put crack in the food, but then I think she smokes quite a bit. ;) Anyway, fabulous dinner accented by myburningviolin, one of her boys, and his family sitting a table away. Apparently I'm now stalking her, considering the running into her ar the Rt 9 Diner on Tuesday. :) She's always a treat, that one.

sunny and I also did some shopping and came home with a new comforter and sheet set. All black, and the comforter and pillow shams have grey chinese dragons on them. It was a tossup between those and the OMG PURPLE satin comforter. I think this one will work out better decor wise. </decoratingfagfairy>

Home again home again niggity nig, new bedclothes in the washer now to get the formadehyde stiffness out of them, and me and the girl are curled up on the loveseat craftingesque.

PS. Anyone want to make me massively happy, there's an XL hoodie in the mens department of Target with little mario + mushroom = BIG MARIO on it. Christmas present? Anyone? ;)

Hmm. I might have to get cracking on the whole wish list concept.
