I currently sit at
morlock's computer trying to figure out why his winXP user profiles aren't loading correctly. There are times when I truly loathe this OS...
Yesterday was middling at best. Basically the high points (seeing Ocean's 12 with the Wonderkittens, going for pizza with Angelgrrl and JJ during lunch) were mostly cancelled out by other assular aspects of it (cold and rainy, staying at work an hour and a half later than intended, bickering crabbily with and at
sundart on our way to the mall, scaring myself shitless by nearly losing my cell after the movie (luckily it was merely eaten by the Shortbus, and not left in the theater), not to mention the compound effects of all four of the aformentioned kitties having days that ranged from bleh to no-seriously-dude-the-gods-HATE-me).
The movie itself kicked ass. Not quite as much ass as Ocean's 11 (there were a few points where the pace lagged, whereas the first one fairly hurtled through its two hours), but definitely worth seeing. ( here there be spoilers. ) I really had a good time with this one, and my criticisms are merely nitpicky - I'm still probably going to pick up this and Ocean's 11 on DVD at some point, plus I would like to see the original Rat Pack version at some point.
Another high point to the movie - OMG, that Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt spy movie looks like wonderful eye candy. There is something about that woman handling a very large gun that... really does it for me.
I ended up finishing the night at the f4rmh0u5e, watching the first four eps of Tailspin and cuddling a very sad
morlock. Later I think I'm going to head to JoAnn Fabrics and see about finding grommets for the leotard, then go home and do hexmas presents and cards, but for now... *sigh* back to beating this computer into submission.
Note: thank the Goddess I had the foresight to ctrl-A copy the entire entry before hitting "Update." Ha ha, LJ, you thought you had my entry this time, but I have verily snatched it back from your voracious entry-eating jaws. Take that, bitch! And word to the rest of y'all - never EVER use Rich text mode if you update this thing with the web page thing.
