So somehow tonight I found myself watching New Edition's behind the music. Jesus. It's like the black 80s and the early black 90s puked into my living room. And now Meteor man is on the SciFi network... WTF is this movie? And why are all these mofo's running around with BAD bleach jobs? and why is everyone black and Hollywoody in this movie?

Also saw a clip from the new NIN album... looks a bit like Trent's channelling Bono, but I'm still intrigued. :) what do y'all's think of it?

bed now - had about enough of the blackness for tonight, and I have to be up early for the gayness tomorrow. :)

Pride was wicked fun. There was gay fabulousness everywhere, and Bosslady's DogHamptonmobile, with the help of a big gentle great dane, a small poodle dyed pink by giving her a bath in cherry juice, and of course, Cisco & Dottie, was a smash.

My purple getup got lots of compliments from gay bois. Especially my hat. I ended up tying my feather boa around the top hat, and somehow the result was so fabulous that I got compliments right and left. Proof positive that a black woman can wear a hat of any size and ridiculousness and it will be great.

Back home now, and exhausted - between the marching, the standing on line for food, and the longer than estimated walk from the field to the closest atm and back, my legs are utterly killing me. I overdid it a bit, I think, but I had fun, so no regrets. I just have to take it easy for a couple of days.

Plan for the rest of the day - hot shower and sandwich, most definitely. After that, not sure...
