The Sawyer Song. Don't kill me.

Yes, there is Lost tonight (not lawyers, which for some reason I wanted to type just then). After that there's a Warcrack themed South Park.

Andee is pleased with her universe. Then again, Andee also has coffee for the first time since Saturday.

So [livejournal.com profile] sundart and I were having a conversation this morning about classic Sesame Street segments that have stayed with us up until present day. "Yeah! remember the one about the crayon factory???"

Well, she actually found it. How crayons are made

A little more looking for some of my favorites yielded up the following:

The last one, Count Von Count singing "Count up to 9" I couldn't find. :( if someone finds it someplace, comment and I will love you forever. "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9... doo wah!"

God, this stuff is so 70s it hurts. Not to mention makes me feel utterly ancient.

[EDIT] Someone from [livejournal.com profile] blackfolk reminded me of the Ladybug Picnic... which I discovered I can still sing from memory. Scary.

[EDIT AGAIN] There's a whole Wikipedia article on "Pinball Number Count" (the link above is sort of the best of 11 segments edited together). Apparently the Pointer Sisters are singing the music. Whoa.

[EDIT^3] A loaf of bread, container of milk, stick of butter...

[EDIT^4] ROFLMAO, I just found Heeeeeeeeeeeere, Fishy Fishy Fishy!

heh

kjpepper: (OMG YAY)
So last night I spent having quality time with the sunny, starting with her feeding me meat. Bless her, she had hamburgers waiting for me upon my arrival home.

The rest of the evening was full of Law and order, cuddlins, trying on of the piratey attire (damn my dress is teh hawt, and much to my amusement, made by The Funhouse - god I miss that place!), and her demonstrating Dragon NaturallySpeaking, which is pretty friggin cool. I even played a little warcrack for her amusement.

I also introduced her to the Boondocks - while she had read the comic, she'd never seen the show. Much like I did, she thinks it's the most messed up thing evar - with gorgeous animation. Seriously, I still can't get over how gorgeous the animation is on that show. Plus she was amused by one of my favorite lines evar. "And when White people talk? They [exaggerated enunciation] Say. The. Whole. Word. Like. This."

Lost in four hours!!!!!! Plus something fabulous possibly in the works! More as it becomes available! Wheeeee!
