Ridiculous things that probably shouldn't exist

Today was good. Picked up sundart, got started on the Tree, did some shopping for supplies at the multitudinous dollar stores... I found a roll of Star Wars wrapping paper that was so ridiculous I bought it even though the package was open. It had pictures of Darth Vader on it saying "I find your lack of joy disturbing" and Yoda saying "A Merry Christmas you have." I really honestly can't decide whether to actually use it for presents or hoard it for a few years then put it up on eBay.

There were a few misfires today... spilled half a bottle of bleach in the front hall. Amazingly, neither the carpet, floor nor bench are much damaged. the black pants I was wearing however are totally a lost cause. Woe. Granted I'm shrinking out of yet another size of pants anyway, but still. Arg. I spent enough money this month, I don't need to have to buy pants too. And... while we've located the lights and the garlands, the actual ornaments have mysteriously vanished. My displeasure is boundless. Oh well, they can't have gotten far. I'll find them tomorrow...

Okay. Christmas is now allowed to happen.

ZOMG I hate the House sometimes. It took three tries, three locations and a near nervous breakdown to find the box of tree ornaments this morning. But they were found, the tree is now done, and it is wonderous and gaudy and beautiful and all kinds of mean nasty ugly things. :D

So much crap to do left... cooking... baking... cleaning... But at least the tree's done. :) And I now has an icon.
