Happy VD day, everyone!

Really, that's the only bit of cynicism I'm allowing myself today, and that's only because it's always made me giggle when they called it that. It's tempting to be sarcastic and dismissive of this very Pink Holiday, but the weird thing is as I get older the less negative I feel like being about it. I mean, sure, you should get and give love all 365 days of the year (and I'd like to say that I do) but I see no real problem taking a day to celebrate that (or occasionally getting a ridiculously sized box of Godiva from my Dad). Though I am a little weary of the rampant heteronormative commercials. Who isn't? :)

So to all of you reading this, all my love and hugs and kisses today.
