Writer's Block: My Userpics

I always found it kinda nice that user icons are presented in the order in which they were added. Alas, my first userpic isn't there. But this one's roughly contemporary to it. It's a Samurai Jack villain named Demongo taunting like a five year old.
My default icon is always either a picture of me or a very close graphical representation. I do this because I believe the words mean more somehow if you can associate a face with them, plus it's my way of saying "why yes, there is a living, thinking person physically tapping out these words on a keyboard, not a figment of someone's imagination or an internet construct of some sort." And you know, some days (like alternate Thursdays in a month beginning on a Monday) I clean up good enough to grudgingly agree that yes, I'm kinda hot.
This one, quite obviously, is me making an iPod ad out of a photo of myself. In reality I despise earbuds and wouldn't be caught dead wearing them - I quite prefer big squashy studio headphones that block external noise and are bigger than my head. (The ones in the picture are 'shopped.) Just a sort of testament as to how music is coming back into my life with a vengeance.
