Check deposited. *happy dance*
Left Hand of Darkness purchased. I can now do my English reading and will be doing so this evening. Hey, it's homework...
obligatory silly thing done in celebration of non-brokeness. ie, I biked all the hell way to Murder Bling, and had a ridiculously happy moment with a chicken whopper, some way-too-salty-fries and a coke big enough to swim in which I gleefully refused to finish. I'll regret it in about three hours, but considering I don't do nasty fast food anymore (and haven't in a damn long while) I was quite unrepentant. Well, maybe not completely - I did do the coke instead of the hot tub sized vanilla shake. So much for Be-kind-to-my-insides week, but I think the shake would have changed it to Do-your-insides-grievous-irreparable-harm week. Not into that. :) Anyway, had a half hour of horrible food bliss curled up by myself in a booth and reading the LeGuin. So far, verrrry interesting.
Went home the sort of long way, but in reality it was probably a much shorter way than swinging back through downtown. Down Jackson Street, onto the bike path, off at Cooley Dick, coast downhill for home. I tell you, 3/4th of a mile of cool breeze and optional pedalling does wonders for the overstuffed and slightly icktastic tummy. I love my bike. And today was such a good day to be out there riding too, windy and kinda warm and sunny. Which is funny because last I checked we were getting snow tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. *checks* Oh boy. Friday too. Rapture. Yep, you read right, even I'm sick of the snow. Bring me some warm weather and sunshine, damn it.
Some Buffy and Angel now, I think.
