St. Patrick's Day. Somehow I don't know if it's even worth acknowledging the holiday as I a) am not in NY, where it is a fucking big deal (even the gang members wear green hankies and the hookers wear green fishnets...) and/or b) not really a big drinker, nor do I have anyone to go drinking with. I mean even though beer is kinda gross (especially when they dye it green), I would certainly get into the spirit if I had someone to get silly with. I think the extent of my celebrating will be wrassling up a green shirt (I've got to have one somewhere) and loading a bunch of Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys onto my Nomad.

Beer Bad! *chuckle* just watched that episode of Buffy. Good stuff.

For a day though, it hasn't begun half bad. Yeah, I did have to get up at the asscrack and snowblow but that wasn't really ignominious as the snow was light and powdery and Red Riding Hood (yes, I've named the snowblower. bite me.) started up without a fuss and didn't give me a single problem. [livejournal.com profile] sundart came out with me with a shovel and together we cleared the driveway and walk in forty minutes, go us, that's probably the fastest that's ever been done. And inside for hot breakfast, though all I had was O'Soy and water, damned fuckety digestion. I'm thinking shoving the O'Soy to the back of the fridge was a bad idea... I wasn't really in the bargain for frozen yogurt today, even if it did look wicked cool when I opened it. Still, ice chunks in the breakfast weren't all that pleasant.

Opening Seelye lab this morning and hanging there until 12ish. Thinking I might transfer the exported sound files from the mixes yesterday to the laptop (which disturbingly, wants to be named Little Beavis... I don't think it's a good idea to have a machine whose namesakes are a blond moron with a penchant for picking his nose and [livejournal.com profile] harinezumi's penis), take a stack of CDRs, and set about burning the crap to CD whilst I work. Also taking some homework, as [livejournal.com profile] sundart gently pointed out yesterday here it be wednesday and I've barely touched it.

Called and talked to [livejournal.com profile] timarok late last night... he's got me thinking about some shit. Well maybe not he himself but just the situation in general... But that's processing for a later entry, I think. Gotta go run around now.

So you just watched what has been voted the worst episode of Buffy ever. I have to admit I totally agree. Did you enjoy it? I always thought that if someone had watched only that episode they would never bother to watch another. Season 4 has both the worst and best episodes ever. Have you seen Hush yet? If not you have a treat in store.

I found it intensely amusing. I mean, beer is evil... plus I tend to appreciate any episode in which it looks like the actors had way too much fun making it. I mean, Buffy in general isn't exactly kabuki levels of high drama. :)

wackos =p

Guinness is GUD! Nothing can compare to the sweet amber nectar. The way sunlight reflects through the amber liquid when you hold it up to the light, the warm roll of barley across your tongue, while the sweet taste of walnut lingers tenderly upon the back of your tastebuds.

Amber? Try liquid bread. I love me some guinness, don't get me wrong on any account! But really: amber is the Bass Ale half of a black and tan; molasses is the Guinness bottom.

*is a stickler for the right metaphor*
