What's the last thing you ate?
1 6oz cup of strawberry o'soy. Heaven, I'm in heaven...

cheddar or swiss

oranges and in october, pomegranates.

When, if ever, did you start liking olives?
ugh.

When, if ever, did you start liking beer?
Not quite there yet, but it's growing on me.

*runs screaming*

What was the best thing your mum/dad/guardian used to make?
There is a family legend about how I would eat nothing but "sisketti" from ages 1.5-6.

What's the native specialty of your home town?
Moment of silence for New York style pizza, and an honorable mention for the hot pretzels and Nathans franks.

O'soy, chocolate, cocoa

What's your favorite type of chocolate?
One of these days I'm going to get put away for holding up a Godiva store just for the vanilla caramels. But in the meantime, Green and Blacks organic caramel bars are very very yummy.

How do you like your steak?
dead.

How do you like your burger?
gray, on a bun, with tomato, lettuce, relish and ghetto French dressing

How do you like your eggs?
scrambled with garlic and ketchup

How do you like your potatoes?
baked, with plenty of cheese, broccoli and bacon bits.

How do you take your coffee?
I would love to be able to say "black as midnight on a moonless night," but I'm sorry, yech. Extra cream, extra sugar please.

How do you take your tea?
straight.

What's your favorite mug?
currently it would have to be the green M&M bug with the smile and the two hands.

chewy chocolate chip

if it's involves french toast/pancakes/waffles and a side of canadian bacon, call me a happy woman.

Moment of silence for the late the great Fitzwilly's monte christo. *sigh*

The best pizza I've ever had was Willimantic Pizza's Red Potato, which we only knew about because darkling_dreams was at UConn at the time.

Apple. a la mode.

anything involving croutons and strips of chicken is good by me. Hold the olives.

o'soy, applesauce.

dead thing, frozen peas

Halt & Buy Shit (ie Stop and Shop)

usually weekly, but we've been lapsing a bit.

I occasionally will splurge on free-range dead thing. It tastes sooooooooo much better.

What's the most expensive piece of kitchen equipment you own?
Not sure.

no clue here either.

frying pan, the neat can opener thing that unseals the can rather than cuts a hole in the top.

we were doing every day for a bit.

sundart and I made Southern Dinner the other night - fried catfish, candied sweet potatoes and collard greens. *slurp* Next time we do the yellow rice too.

had venison once by accident. wasn't half bad.

not to recent memory.

that would be last summer when Northampton was drowning in black raspberries.

Burger King - double whopper hold the onion heavy pickle, fries, vanilla shake, apple pie. Of course, my intestines are shrivelling at the very thought.

Pick a city. What are the three best dining experiences you've had in that city?
I'm a big fan of the rash of Asian restaurants in Northampton (why does a town this size require... (counts) 13, including the Indian places??)... Anyway, that would be the hibachi table for sundart's and my last anniversary at Osaka, the saturday night when sundart d_d and her friend Archna and I went to Fitzwilly's and entertained and were entertained by the house magician, and Jim Blau's going away party at Packards.

What's your choice of tipple at the end of a long day?
cocoa, with the itsy bitzy marshmallows.

What's the next thing you'll eat?
not sure. but after all that I'm kinda feeling lunchy.
