kjpepper | The bells are ringing

It's intermittently pouring outside, punctuated by the sound of a church bell, first solo, now accompanied about a third and a half lower, by another. It takes me a minute to identify the Wilson house bell two blocks and some odd away, and behind that and somehow carrying better, the bell at Helen Hills Hills Chapel. There must be some Alumnae weekend event that was happening this AM outside that is now being driven indoors, probably into the bowels of ITT. Sucks to be them.

Still a vastly melancholy sound echoing through this early in the rainy morning. A lonely sound to wake up to, knowing you're the only one in the house that's awake.
