There is just something very satisfying about a small-ish rectangular box full of goodies, very neatly wrapped in brown packing paper, sealed against the elements and the vagaries of the postal system with plastic weatherseal tape (thicker than normal packing tape and probably survives the trip better anyway), and addressed carefully in Sharpie marker. Bonus points for adding serifs to the letters so it all looks very neat and swank.
The one problem is that I'm not sure I left room for the postage, customs and priority mail stickers. ah well, let the PO clerks worry about that.
sigh. I'm suck a packing/wrapping fag. No wonder I get stuck wrapping 40% of the presents at christmas.
timarok... incoming!
