*sigh* alls I got to say is thank the goddess I get paid weekly instead of every other, and I worked a few more hours than usual last week. I haven't seen this broke in a few years, and I'm hating it with the passion of a thousand camels doing the hokey pokey. Made shopping this afternoon a mite frustrating, but in the end, almost everything that needed to be procured, was, and I still have a wee bit left over for teh havening and a couple of last little things. Stupid UMass class fucking the hole where my money used to be. Bash it good.

Which reminds me... *sigh* I have both homework and dishes to do tonight. Guess who's not sleeping? uhhuh.

*sigh*

Other than that, and a serious mood crash around 4 which I bounced back from, my day was good. despite teh broke, exploring the little stores in Amherst was fun. I think I prefer Northampton's Main Street, overall, but since I'd been meaning to wander around Amherst for a bit, I'm glad I got to go, especially as I managed to a) soak up some Newbury Comics atmosphere b) find belly dancing lessons in the area c) accidentally find the other hair salon I was considering a while back. Went to the mall afterward and kinda collapsed, as I hadn't eaten all day, but [livejournal.com profile] sundart ordered me to go eat something and gave me money to buy dinner. So I did and I felt better kthx. Spent some time hanging out with her after she got out of work, and we spent some quality time talking about/bitching about our current entanglements, and for shits and giggles wandered over to [livejournal.com profile] morlock's work from the mall so we could say hi when he got out. The three of us hung out for a bit which was quite nice, and then it was back to the mall to see Shaun of the Dead with [livejournal.com profile] sydneycat.

OMG.

Okay, so the bit where someone's innards are quite spectacularly ripped out of someone's body was over the top ([livejournal.com profile] sundart got wibbly and unhappy about that). Other than that I was rather consistently screaming with laughter. So yeah. if you can deal with teh gore, go see movie.

In other news, we have one or more stealth poopers in the house. For the past three or so weeks we're occasionally finding cat poo where it shouldn't be, namely in really odd corners of the house. We found some artfully arranged outside of mine and sunny's bedroom door and the usual subject was asleep in the study. I don't think any of the cats are sick, but we have been running a little off schedule with the catboxes this might be the feline equivelent of "hey hey ho ho this dirty litter's got to go," or this could be the first declaration of the Fat's attempt to take over the world. Funny thing is we haven't been THAT off, and this has never happened before. Anyway, we'll be synched up with trash night again this week with the litter, so we'll see if keeping up with the litter helps.

*sigh* yet another reason to be pissed about the $$ sitch. These fuzzbutts need to go to the vet for their checkups/shots.

My cat randomly drags his poop out of the box and bats it around or pounces on it or brings it out into the living room for all the world to see, smell, and/or step in. I figure it's either a) time to change the kitty litter, even though (like you) I'm pretty on top of it since it's stinkypoo, b) Frodo being pesky to get attention from his never-at-home Mommy, c) Frodo remembering how his former roommate the crazy Boo Kitty used to drag the hard poopies out of the litter box and bat them around on the hardwood floor as toys. I dunno. It's pretty random when he does it, it seems, but it might just indicate that somecat is miffed. Then again, urinating/defecating outside of the litterbox can indicate a digestive problem of some sort. I'd recommend that you eep an eye on them and see if you can find out who it is, or if there's a pattern/cause.

Oh, and I hear you on the money thing...I've only just been able to buy my bed after 4 months without one! This summer was really, really tough money-wise. Emerson is eating me up!!!

Hang in there! :-)

Oops, I shouldn't have used "either," as it implies two choices. My bad. Dork much?!
