In other news... everyone's been wonderful. In order of appearance, morlock rule zeroed and... well, to quote him "I didn't run over here. I just walked quickly." Bosslady showed up in my driveway armed with penis truck and dogs, so I got lovins from both her and Cisco (who's getting bigger by the minute). I got hugs from the entire Zakrzewski family (minus zadnyl, who hadn't gone to the wedding) when they dropped an ailing sundart off (poor chickie's got tonsils the size of ping pong balls). Got cuddlins from the girl. beatgoddess came home and is running about helping me look for my ring and taking care of the sick girl. jaicat called and offered crash space and sanity 'cause chez alfredo's gonna be rather insane in terms of the sheer number of people running around. All y'alls who IMed or commented or sent messages, thank you thank you thank you. Yeah, no one really knows what to say about this shit, but here's to sayin' something. Especially since this offers an opportunity for me to display random bouts of inappropriate humor. sydneycat called before she went to bed - she's so cute on the phone. And the rest of the fam called. Everyone's shellshocked but sounds okay... for now. It's kinda like Florida. Sunny and warm right now, but there's a hurricane coming in 18 hours so instead of playing on the beach you gotta nail wood over your windows.

The plan thus far is - tomorrow morning I'm helping sunny get all square with getting her to the doctor, then... I go to NY for goodness knows how long. Yikes.

on the one hand, fucking smith. didn't i give them enough money???

on the other hand, it is only $150 for the year and you can bring a guest for free every time. Therefore if i bring aerith with me, it would be $75 for each of us for the year which is cheeper than 2 months membership at most gyms.

i figure it had to end sometime. with all the budget cuts and staff layoffs, cutting down or eliminating perks wasn't far behind. and while it sux to have to pay if you're used to it being free, athene's right- it's cheap for a year's membership. that's about 3 months of a Y membership 'round these parts.
