Hotmail just randomly saw fit to grant me an extra 248MB of space. Wonder what prompted that extra bit of generosity? Of course, they're still fucking up the whole livejournal commenting ability so I still get to poop on them. Reminds me, need to switch that over to gmail. At least I won't have to be urged to punch the evil kangaroo whilst commenting back to people.

Today was fun if not really all that productive in any department other than the headspace processing one. I even managed to get out of the house for a bit, and I'm glad I did, seeing as it turned out to be really nice weather outside. (which was good cause my hair was still wet by the time I got out there) Anyway, I walked out to the strip mall out on the ass end of King Street to meet morlock for some lunchies at Bickfords, so I got my fair share of fresh air and yet another serving of French Toast in less than 24 hours. Rar. And of course I had to utter one the wrongest things evar on our way out - they sell cute squishy stuffed animals in the front of the restaurant and there was this beaver there, that morlock was threatening to bite the head off of, and I said quite loudly "Don't eat the beaver!" Whereupon we both cracked up and quite probably offended everyone within a ten foot radius of us.

In other news, I just finished up writing a long ass reply to K, my best friend from high school, who emailed me last week upon hearing about Mom. Whew, it is beyond good to be back in touch with her again - I hadn't realized how much I'd missed her. So that's all happy and crap. :) I also spent a little time chatting with gymli about gossamer_gull's birthday present (ain't I a stinker?) and with masteradept, who's going through tough ass shit right now, but hopefully the virtual cocoa helped him a little.

Tonight, I shall at least oil and cornroe the head, and this weekend it goes back into yarn. Yes. *decisive nod* Damn, I was within spitting distance of a wal-mart - I should have picked up some Coke - I could use hyper-juice right now. oh well, maybe later, if I get so inspired.

so the hotmail fairy granted you more space, too, eh? i dimly remember seeing something in one of their mass mailings about more space but i couldn't recall if it was temporary or experimental or what. they didn't roll it out all at once: i have 2 hotmail accounts, and one got the increase over a week ago but the other just got it today. must be because they're stored on different servers; when hotmail is being wonky i can often get into one but not the other.
