Maybe I should start a memelet that starts "There are things about myself which I don't like, which frustrate me, which scare me, which I feel I need to get over but I somehow can't at this state of the game" list said things, then end with something fun and memelike. "Post this in your journal so that my pitiful little ego knows it's not alone." The trouble with a meme like that is that everyone has these aspects of themselves zipped up inside them, like Pandora's box, and the prospect of letting them out, sharing them, cam be quite a scary experience. I'm sure ultimately ripping them out of where they're poisoning me and exposing them to open air is quite empowering and all that jazz, but I'm sure the process would also lose me friends, something that always saddens me, no matter how estranged or toxic the relationship is. I hate it when people don't like me, especially if I know the reason why.
I'm babbling. This is when I do when I stay up until 5am and then sunny has to haul my protesting carcass out of bed three hours later. *sigh*

My two cents: don't lie to them through misinformation. Friendships based on lies are disrespectful of them and stressful on you.
*You* like you. Everything else will happen as it should.
*hugs!*
