kjpepperSeriously, some of the best conversations I have ever had were with cabbies, both in NY and Northampton. I love the N'hamp drivers - they're a priceless bunch I tell you. I swear, they are fonts of unexpected wisdom and funny quotes. I had a fascinating conversation with one last year about why he's Wiccan that's still got me thinking. and then there was Dave today, that said something wicked funny about coffee addiction so I wrote it down.
"If you pledge fealty to the Dark Lord Caffienicus, you will pay a steep price."
He then went on to explain the horrors of loyalty to Caffienicus' nasty little brother Nicotor, and their kinder cousin Cannibis. Man, I smell RPG spoof in the making.
I love the fact that I can make little notes on my phone so I don't forget shit like this.
