*gazes at it with a relieved, slightly maniacal grin.*

The past twenty four and change hours have been a bit of a rollercoaster, and I'm exhausted. But after date with a cute fluffy blonde in which there was food and A Series of Unfortunate Events and cuddling and mutual horror at certain items on the clearance rack at Target, I'm happy. Not to mention OMG ring yay.

I am NOT taking this puppy off again. Nope.

I thought it was beautifully done - whoever was in charge of visual style did such a gorgeous job.

I can't offer you a perspective on how they compared to the books, as I'd never read them. But I did find the movie entertaining.
