House of Flying Daggers was... just soooo gosh darn PRETTY! Mmm. I think I officially have a crush on Zhang Ziyi. I mean, she's gorgeous, and well, I love watching hot chicks do martial arts and dance and shit, but it's actually not why I like her. It's cause her ears stick out (and wiggle, ha ha) and she has one of those unexpectedly radiant smiles. I could totally see her playing someone's sweet geeky girlfriend that could totally kick your ass. Cause she could. *drool* and Jin? ok, when they were on screen together there was just way too much pretty stuffed into a 1:2:55 aspect ratio.

So yeah, even though

sydneycat and I were utterly destroyed by the ending, even though we saw it coming a mile away, I liked the movie.

Anyway... been feeling weirdly tired and cranky for the past couple of weeks - my apologies for anyone I've been unintentionally short with. I'm not sure what's actually wrong, but on my end it feels like I've been experiencing everything through several thick layers of fog. I'm also wicked triggery and easily irritated. I've also noticed lately that I'm completely unable to regulate my body temperature. I'm always cold, which is new and irritating for me - I used to me one of those furnace people, you know? now I feel like there's ice way deep inside and it never thaws. *sigh* Maybe I'm getting sick? Can't imagine with what, though.

And for the third extreme conversational jump - rumor has it that the tickets for Cinemark's midnight showing of Office Space next Friday are on sale... and they're saying it will probably sell out the fastest of all the midnight shows to date, so grab your Swinglines and your flair and go buy tickets already. Note: if you buy them online, you can't get the nummy student discount. Perfect excuse to go say hi to
