... ugh. I swear one of the indignities you often had to suffer through as a kid in the UN school was having to dress in "national costume" (which in my case, being kinda American, meant uncomfortable itchy dresses with tights and - ack - hair ribbons) and get paraded around with three other grades worth of ridiculously cute international children in daishikis, saris, ponchos, cheongsams, dirndls, kimonos, et al and sing seriously saccharine songs like the above and "Let There Be Peace on Earth." I shit you not. Dignitaries ate this up with a spoon. Awwww, the cute widdle fuzzy children and their horrible brown plastic recorders! *pinch cheeks* *shudder*

Anyway, the horrible satanic song in the title is stuck in my head. All I'm really going to say about why is godDAMN but sometimes this valley is just way too incestuous of a drama pit to handle, and leave it at that. *counts blessings about not being involved in any of it*

I think I'm PMSing, I kinda developed a hatred of all sentient life around 4:00 PM, then proceeded to eat myself silly between 4:30 and 10:00. Mostly dead thing. Hormones are wonderful.

*sigh* I'm truly in rare form to go to NY this weekend. *sigh* In case it isn't damnably obvious, I am looking forward to this trip about as much as I look forward to having my colon inflated and the mucous membranes found within sandblasted, then massaged tenderly with a spork. *chuckle* Okay... maybe it's not nearly as bad as all that. Still - *sigh*
