I don't understand...

Tonight was good. Really, it was.

morlock and sydneycat showed up, dressed to the nines, cause I'd been nagging at them about how I wanted to have a pic of them for the front page of their web site. Course, syd's very silly - her in a bandanna and morlock in his omnipresent gray hoodie would have sufficed, but hey, I wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to get pictures of morlock in a suit. ;)

I photographed cuteness for a bit, then we dropped syd downtown and morlock and I went to Drum & Dance. Now that was cool. I don't understand how anyone can stand in a space full of percussion and not have to move. But yeah... it was cool, and I danced my ankles sore. Afterward I was a little tweaky from all the energy whipping around, so morlock and I found a local playground to chill out in for a bit... *chuckle* I don't know what it is about me and going to the playground at night, but there it is.

And then there was Goodfellas... I'd never seen it before, and I really enjoyed it. Maybe it's yet another symptom of growing up in NY, but I do have a taste for organized crime movies, and I'm surprised I missed this one. Course, the curse of not being independently mobile reared its ugly head, and I had to leave to catch the bus before the end of the movie, so I'm going to have to watch it again just to see how it ended. Don't tell me.

So yeah... by all measures I had a fantastic evening. Explain to me exactly why I feel like crawling into a corner and bawling until sunrise?

Probably doesn't have to do anything with the evening. Give the bawl a shot and see how you feel about it. Therapeutic? Nuff said - you needed it. Feels like it's contributing towards a downward depression spiral? When you're done, starting asking yourself questions, gently, to see what was behind it.
