Jul. 9th, 2003 07:17 amWhew. Nothing to make you appreciate the normal functioning of the eyeball than temporarily losing it for a while. My eyes as predicted, returned completely to normal around 7pm ish.
Not much took place during my unexpected day off, besides gently explaining to the electrician about
beatgoddess' disrupted sleeping, and then conking out in various places in the house despite being overheated. I also cooked up some evil revenge for my completely encoded letter. *evil cackle* at some point
sundart and shanti resurfaced at home, helped me take out the trash, and then departed for a late night expedition. beatgrrl scored herself a cheap hotel room to sleep in in the meantime.
The fireflies are out, and maybe this evening I'll go out to play with them. I love fireflies so much and haven't seen then in years since Smith pesticides the hell of every acre it owns. sundart has told me they can be spotted in the neighborhood, so at some point I shall go out with my little jar and catch some (I'll let them go afterwards - there was an interesting incident in ly childhood involving a bug jar getting open and everyone finding glowbugs in the oddest places in the house that probably doesn't warrent repeating.)
but first I have to actually wake up and do things like go to work. :)
