Today I got to sleep in the new place all by myself (not including the fuzzy nuisances). Goddamn, if you close your eyes and ignore the birds, it really is like having an apartment on 8th Avenue or something just from the street noise alone. and that's mostly cause of the buses. And the noisy people. But this (for me) anyway is a good thing - city type noise puts me to sleep right quick.

I got a wee bit more unpacking and organizing done and put up a single hook yesterday. Mostly it was organzing the clothes on the floor and in the trunk into "hang" "dresser" and "trunk" piles and then putting them away accordingly. I have a rather appalling amount of laundry - think i might shove it in a duffel bag and take it to work with me, since there's a laundromat around the corner.

Cough is better, but the lungs are still all raw and stupid.

anzovin came to visit for a while last night before absconding with

sundart for the evening, and

morlock wandered down for a little bit right before I went to bed. His excitement over the fourth edition World of Darkness system is rather infectious, and I think I may have to read the two game books he's got as well as pick up Vampire and Mage, when it comes out. Hey,

masteradept, does your store do mail order? ;) It's funny though... I think

myburningviolin's R is correct when he says that having everyone close by rather than scattered across three towns is going to change the dynamic quite a bit between all of us. Hopefully in ways we'll adjust to, though.

Tonight: depending on the availability of duffel bag, laundry at some point, and

sundart and I are heading to Northampton tonight to do trash and pet kitties and hopefully at least glimpse beatfag as she flits from one employ to the other.

Well, if I'm catching a bus at 8:20, I gotta run off now and do things like not go to work unkempt and naked. I do have a glass door into my office, after all.
