kjpepper: (don't panic)

I know I posted about this a couple months back, but I've repicked up the project of sorting out my health care. After all I now have insurance, I should really use it, not to mention I'm due for some things. Like an eye checkup - my opthalmologist sent me one of those "OI! get yer butt in here" letters. Luckily they take my insurance. *happy dance* I desperately need new lenses though - the coating on one is degrading so badly it feels like I'm seeing through artificial cateracts. Ugh.

Anyway, for the rest, I'm doctor shopping again, thought I'd toss out a few names and see if anyone has had any experience with the below?

First, girlbits - I've got three names for that: Barbara Jones, Suzy Silverstein and Lisa Stephens. I think they all split a practice, so I really don't have much of a preference as to which one. I've heard good things about Barbara Jones, but wondering if anyone's heard anything through the grapevine about the other two?

The trickier bit are the mental health docs... I've got a few names in Northampton and a few in Amherst, would appreciate feedback considering I need to narrow these down a bit before I start calling around.

Northampton - Lewis Breitner, Andrea Cousins, Glenn Fagen, Terese Weinstein Katz, Jack Laforte, James L Sharp

Amherst - Jeffrey D Fishman, Mark Haffey, Nancy Haffey, Susan Hess

All feedback appreciated.

I so have this same list. I desperately need to get my eyes checked, go to the dentist and attend to the girl-parts. Time since these have been dealt with: 2-8 years. Luckily, UT's crazy people services are decent (and free as long as you are a student), so at least I don't have to worry about that one.
