Oh, thank the goddess

kjpepperFor about three hours late this afternoon my livejournal disappeared. You should have beheld the heart attack that nearly ensued as I sat down at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
beatgoddess' computer when I got home from work and my page was quite cheerfully proclaiming that I had 0 entries in my Livejournal. Ack???
Anyway, its back now. Phew!
Other than that, a fairly calm and mellow Monday. I had a good, busy day at work, and came home to package and uproariously funny, but touching and insightful letter frombirkwelch. Package included a Rubik's Cube painted in glittery nail polish now adorning my computer and complimenting the glittery stickers on the monitor, and several compact florescent light bulbs. *shakes head.* silly boy. Shortly thereafter the rest of the homos came home, and immediately set to work maintaining the lawn - I instead agreed to take beatgrrl's night for dinner and whipped up some fabulous "Look what I just randomly found in the fridge!" There was chicken, and hotdogs, and peasandcarrots, and collard greens . . . yummy.
beatgrrl,sundart and I also got together for what isn't known as a "House Meeting." (Smithies in the hizzouse say "Hooooooo!" - though this was less ignominious that listening to the eight millionth parody of the *ding ding ding* "Oh. My. Gawd. I pulled the grossest hairball out of the drain today. It was, like, the size of my foot or something.") It was good to get the lines of communication open and trickling, if not flowing freely, but that will come again in time.
Sleepy. I was going to respond to some email but Dragonsea.net isn't responding this evening. ah well, perhaps tomorrow. Yawn.
