HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Second off, I know, one more post about how much Dracula's Bowl ruled, oh noes, but seriously, wow. That's the most fun I've had at Haven in a while. There's a certain je ne sais quoi to scoring a strike to "Dead Stars", or "Du Hast" (there was some serious Haven Top 40 on tonight, and ha ha,

addambombb wasn't allowed to swear on the microphone, with pretty funny results.) My arm's kinda busted after three games, but I had a crapton of fun... and I think I may be getting the hang of making the ball go where I want to go, as I managed to score three strikes in my last game - which was nice because the first two game scores would have been embarrassing if I weren't with

ladygwyn and

inle_rah, who, like me, are the sort that cheer and jump up and down about gutter balls, cause we don't actually care. But after the second game I started paying attention to what I was doing and managed to start doing something that worked... also I think I was the only lefty in the visible area. Weird.

The funniest bit of course was that it was a normal open night at the Northampton Bowl, so there was a crapton of staring from the "normal" people. Who pretty quickly cleared out when the lights went out and the music juiced up. But yeah, the "Oh god, WTFBBQ" looks were pretty damned amusing.

I took a cubic shitload of crappy cell phone pictures too - once I find my bluetooth dongle (praying the cats haven't knocked it under the stove or something) I'm going to email them to addam. Some of them are just fucking hilarious.
