I dreamed that I was lost in this huge fucking house. And I do mean huge. In fact, it was laid out suspiciously similiarly to a couple of malls I've been in.

It was one of those dreams where I'm not actually starring in it, but wandering around observing . . . there was this sweet aristocratic lady who had just come into the house, with a really nasty lady-in-waiting (it was unfortunate that she was nasty, as she looked like a teenaged version of Angelina Jolie... drool) and the lady was really nice to everyone who had lived in the house before she got here, especially this little kitchen girl who was used to sneaking upstairs to the Lady's chambers and looking out the windows. Except one day she got caught and punished by the Angelina doppelganger. (keep in mind, everyone in this dream is running around in the appropriate medieval clothing - it must be renfaire season or something - but there was modern background muzak through most of it. It kinda felt like they turned that Knight's Tale movies into a bad TV show on UPN.)

Anyway, the kitchen girl, who had somehow turned into [livejournal.com profile] darkling_dreams, decided she had enough of Angelina-clone's bitchitude, as she had gotten slapped or something and threatened with the dungeons. So she ran down this unused corridor and down a very narrow staircase (I and the two people that were following her had to really squeeze to get down the stairs) down to the basement, where she had found an airshaft to climb up and escape through. Except I heard a noise in the basement, so figuring we were already caught (I was in the dream by this time, not just watching) I wandered around the basement to see who else was there. I found a back door to outside instead, which was open. I tried to go back to tell the others, but Angelina-clone was already there laughing haughtily about them trying to escape through a narrow airshaft when there was a door already open on the other side. I stayed quiet to listen to where she was taking darkling and the two other people ([livejournal.com profile] sundart, and for some reason this girl heather that was in our house first year at Smith who had a very distinctive laugh) so I could rescue them later.

Don't really know what happened next, as my alarm kept going off during this dream and finally I gave up and woke up, even though I wanted to keep going and see where the dream went.

bleh. The past two days I've been crashing before midnight and waking up around 6:30-7:00 which is actually much more sleep than I usually get, but it doesn't seem to be helping much as I wake up stiff, achy and more tired than when I went to bed.

Ah well. Off to start my day.

Maybe your body is catching up with itself sleep-wise, and that's why you are so tired in the morning? It happens to me sometimes. Or maybe you have apnea? That happens to me sometimes. *lol*

Love you, sorry you slept weird.
