Things to do post-wedding:

  • OMG sleep. A lot. In fact, tend to my health in general. Stress isn't good, and some general be nice to me time is called for. Especially since I've started to feel really run down and ill from all the wedding stress. Of course today's general feeling of malaise probably started from an unplanned sprint to catch a bus I ultimately missed the morning and then coughing for an hour afterward.
  • Organize the crapton of bite sized legos I got for my birthday. Start planning to build my model in earnest and make changes to the design.
  • Do some mental and physical cleansing. Not cleaning. Cleansing. I'm carrying around so much crap... both in life and in my head. I need to process, heal, and freecycle, depending on what we're talking about. Chuck some things.
  • Rearrange my office. I've been meaning to do that since August.
  • Catch up on Avatar: the last Airbender. I'm woefully behind on the current season - the last episode I remember seeing is "The Chase", and there have been at least six since then.
  • Practice the dance for the next MEAC show and put away $30 for a copy of the DVD. Oh yeah, and make a skirt for it. Before the dress rehearsal.
  • Play a LOT of Guitar Hero 2.
  • Get my finances in order. Like once and for all.
  • Lay down plans for the radio show.
  • Lay down plans for Secret Level.
  • Take pictures again. I'm feeling a photo essay itch again. Thinking of taking a day and photographing the Studio at work, with [livejournal.com profile] anzovin & co's permission of course.
  • Breathe. Stretch. Stop sweating the small stuff.

Today was the first time in a really long time that I've actually gotten EXCITED about the event in 10+ days. Reason being that shit's actually falling into place, and it occurred to me during a conversation with Sunny this morning that we'd be seeing folk in a few days that are extremely dear to the both of us that we don't see all that often. [livejournal.com profile] harinezumi. [livejournal.com profile] jaicat [livejournal.com profile] aisha7576 & W. [livejournal.com profile] masteradept. [livejournal.com profile] birkwelch. <lj user=rukasboy. And that's only naming a few. And this week as I ran about collecting boffing swords and Sunny obtained Significant Sand and we recieved our various items in the mail, I was at least half convinced that our party might very well kick booty, rather than suck. Yarr. Plus I have the chuckle of knowing that I have hooked a near complete stranger on Puzzle Pirates. I think tonight I'd better post announcements as to the order of events, as I happen to know some of our guests with advanced knowledge have actually been PRACTICING for one of them! People! Chill!!! :)
