*bounce* I turn 25 at 7:01 PM tonight. *cue Strong Bad saying "The current time is . . . Seven. Oh-one. PM."*

We did quite a bit of celebrating last night, actually, since

sundart is going to be spending much of tonight in the bathroom starting the prep for her procedure tomorrow morning. Bleh. So there was yummy yummy dinner made by

primitive_boy, and cake baked and frosted by our own Fairy Faggot, aka Snookie, aka

beatgoddess. And there were some presents! beat got me this adorable little box with the big blue A train symbol on it, so it goes with my subway lunch box, and inside were wicked funny tags for all the cats. My favorite of the tags is Valentino's - on the back it says "Big Bad Boycat. Drinks from toilet. Knocks shit over. We love him anyway." I also got a book of puzzles to do in the bathroom for those afternoons when I can't find a book. :) And

primitive_boy's friend Janine showed up too, and brought me bags of chocolate wrapped in purple tissue, with a curly cascade of ribbon that looks good in my hair. And

sundart, bless her, did my dishes. That might have been the best present so far. ;) And then we all trooped into the living room for a cozy family showing of Undercover Brother. Bliss.

Tonight, there will be a

gossamer_gull bearing gifts. *eep of joy* and wednesday there may be hockey mania with all of the resident hockey fans up in the house, like

darkling_dreams and Lemur.

primitive_boy has made some cryptic allusion to a birthday present he hasn't made me yet. And there is a a box on the way from the big blue dragon in Utah. and beat's gonna gimme the birthday beating! And some other fun lined up for me later this week. ;) Oh, and

harinezumi wished me happy birthday in two languages without any previous prompting. How often does that happen? ;)

I love my birthday... gotta go to work now. :D
