I remember one time at Girl Scout camp, we were right in the middle of a rousing chorus of this song, when one of the counselors ordered us to cut it out. Something on her face told us not to ask questions.

I have a vague memory of this song from when I was little. Why are so many children's songs so incredibly morbid?
