Can't wait for this movie. Whatever flaws it may have, casting Nicole Kidman as Ms. Coulter is inspired. (THough I think Tilda Swinton also would have worked. :) )

Apparently Philip Pullman pretty much cast Kidman as Mrs. Coulter in his head when he was writing them, or something like that. I kinda wish they went with the short dark hair, though.

^ Yeah I thought Mrs. Coulter was supposed to have dark hair too. But whatever. She looks amazing.

I read the first two of this trilogy in high school and really enjoyed it - It will be interesting to see what the movie ends up like!
