Ok, apparently Later = Now. I figure I should squeeze out the summation entry now before I have to go and read my flist on ?skip=238980.

First off THE HELL. Vince McMahon decides to fake-die and both past and corrent wrestlers start dying right and left. I was shocked to hear about Chris Benoit last night from sydneycat. Jesus christ. Cynical as it is, I'm really hoping this is the end of the Who Blew Up Vince storyline, cause that was lame, and then real wrestlers started dying. WTF.

RIP, Chris, and to your wife and kid. I'm sorry you had to take them with you. :(

Second. Bonding was rather fabulous, all told. I forget that [livejournal.com profile] sundart is way quieter than her relations, who are fun and raucous and all look alike and talk alike and smile alike (even the in-laws, WTF). And Ocean City was really pretty and fun. We did spend quite a bit of time marching up and down the boardwalk shopping on the cloudy day and when we weren't on the beach. I didn't buy too much, actually, except for a present for sydneycat, a trashy historical novel (The Other Boleyn Girl, by Phillippa Gregory, which actually? was a rather engrossing read. I think I wanna watch the BBC version now.) some vanilla fudge and as y'all saw, dippin dots (yummy). I also got some Bubble Tape and was betrayed. Gah. Aspertame does NOT belong in my bubble gum!

The night all of us went down to the boardwalk to the little amusement park was fun too. The large tower I posted earlier is a ride called the Double Shot, which is pretty much the same thing as the Hellevator/Scream down at Riverside/Six Flags NE except they shoot you up the ride and let you bounce a few times instead of lifting you to the top and dropping you. I must say, I thought of [livejournal.com profile] extrajoker when I went on that one!

Really it was a very low key weekend hanging with the Wiley women, especially [livejournal.com profile] jeanettez and [livejournal.com profile] zadnyl and [livejournal.com profile] sundart. The drives there and back were quite fabulous, as were the other times the four of us got to hang out. [livejournal.com profile] jeanettez even got the four of usl necklaces with rings on them, with words inscribed on the rings. It also made me happy I got to meet sunny's grandma that one time, just long enough to get the stories told about her and to remember that she's the reason all these women are clones. :) That and it occurred to me that Ocean City probably = Sea City from the Babysitter's Club books. Yes I'm a total, but now I wanna reread the ones where Stacey and Mallory go down with the Pikes and see if I remember any of the places there... except I think all my BSC is in NY argh.

I am also pleased to announce that I am the correct color. I was starting to get pasty, which is hard for a black girl to do. Well ok. Dijon Mustard pasty.

Blugh, it's so hot in MA... now that I'm back, I wanna go BACK to the beach. It was 20 degrees cooler at LEAST. Time for a cold drink, and some quality vegging with LJ, wwe.com, and WoW.

Thanks for everything MomZ!! I had a blast.

Glad you had so much fun :). But you know, if you want to escape the heat, there's this place called Seattle where it never gets above 78... (hint, hint)

J/K... sort of... maybe not :P

Per [livejournal.com profile] docwebster, not a trace of the plot remains on WWE.com, and VinnieMac opened last night's RAW himself (looking about a hundred years older and barely holding back tears at several points).

I haven't followed pro wrestling for years, now, but the whole McMahon plot was the biggest failboat ever, and I'm grateful to see it sink (though I'd've been more grateful to see ANYTHING else as the cause).

It's great you enjoyed TOBG.
I hope you can get hold of the BBC tv adaptation.
Don't forget there is a movie coming out in Dec/Jan - hope it's good.
