Five Awesome Things, 7/17/07

1) Pro Wrestling. It's a soap opera, except it takes place in a ring. And with beefy men in panties instead of desperate, rich socialites.

2) Computer serendipity. That rare occasion where you sit down at a computer, tell it to do something and having it work. I've been having one of those charmed days where I can do no wrong..

3) Pop Goes My Heart. I didn't see Music and Lyrics, but that's ok as everyone agrees this is the best bit of the movie. Talk about nailing the very essence of the 80s. Hugh Grant in a shag is quite possibly the most terrifying thing ever.

4) Chicken. Nuff said. Have some defrosting in the fridge awaiting horrible experimentation seasoned with much evil cackling.

5) Clear nail polish. For less obvious reasons than you'd think: a) it discourages me from biting my nails b) soda can pop tops and phillips head screws no longer intimidate me.

I started watching again after we moved and was promptly annoyed to find out that DX and Rey Mysterio were out due to injuries, Trish Stratus had retired and Vinnie Mac was being even more ridiculous than usual. (this a a few weeks before the whole LIMO GO BOOM thing.) And then the Chris Benoit stuff hit the fan.QQ

Right now I would say for pure come-to-butthead eye candy, Batista, and for eyecandy plus fabulous to watch matches, either of the Hardy Boys.

And chicken is good.
