1) MANLY CHICKS. 2 years ago I got to confirm that I indeed look quite hot in a tux. Happy anniversary, sydneycat and morlock!

2) Paying for stuff with doubloons dollar coins. They're shiny and gold, thoroughly confuse people who don't see them very often, and I always feel faintly piratical when buying mundane things with them. Yarr, that'd be a medium coffee, and don't ye be chargin for a large, or ye'll be walkin' a short path t'Davy Jones' Locker. Arr.

3) Cats. It must be a survival tactic that they're so damn cute, otherwise I would have probably brutally slaughtered Valentino when he jumped into bed with me at 6:30 this morning and started being an unholy nuisance of love. GRRR. Oh well, I love him anyway.

4) Today's weather! It is 64 degrees and overcast! Mmmm. It'll go up to 83 later, but that's perfectly okay.

5) A good workday in the making. Nothing like coming to work knowing that you will be working on Awesome Project #2. :)

And now some coffee, some work, some techno, and some staying positive. Maybe. We'll see how that goes. And whether #5 stays awesome.

Also, my cat shows up at my window and whines every morning at about 3:30. You could set your clock by her. Cats suck. Why do we love them, again?
