Quick TV note
Aug. 24th, 2007 10:26 amSo Burn Notice. If you're not already watching it, have cable, and have nothing else to do on Thursday night 'round ten o'clock (or Monday at 11), I highly suggest it for the following reasons.
1) BRUCE CAMPBELL. He may have kinda gone to seed in his old age, but I'd still hit it. Plus his role here as a cheerfully indolent double agent is comedy gold.
2) Fiona. I love this character, she's amazing, has a cute little accent, can totally kick your ass even though she's a twig, and can make a believable explosive out of, like, flour.
3) Sharon Gless. Because I love this woman... though come to think of it, she now seems to be typecast as quirky/neurotic moms to troubled men named Michael. Which reminds me... REALLY NEED TO FINISH QUEER AS FOLK ZOMG.
4) Hilariously deadpan voiceovers of how you can make things that explode, record information, GPS track, and block wiretaps using simple electronics. And flour.
Really this show had me at the previews, since they were using Stereo MCs "connected" as the music. But as I've watched it, I think it'll be one for the DVD collection as well.
