probably one of the best things sydneycat has gotten me hooked on (besides her husband) is www.sploid.com. Their summary of themselves is "a news site with a tabloid mentality -- top stories up top, played big, as fast as they break." They aren't kidding - go look at their site layout. And the headlines are wonderfully snarky and hilarious.

anyhoo, I was pleased to discover that there's a sploid feed on LJ.
