Jun. 24th, 2003 12:57 amput in some more Journal 1 entries tonight (all of January 1989 and one entry to start off February 1989 too) The last entry I did tonight, I think, was the funniest - reliving my angst surrounding being an international school kid and having to sing Let There Be Peace On Earth over and over to different dignitaries and then revisiting my and a friend's private retaliation . . .
More of course to follow.

no, really, I always have been like this
Jun. 19th, 2003 01:20 amso, always being eager to leap upon yet another really big project when I have yet to finish any of the others *sigh, exasperated smile* I started doing some of the transcription of the Fisher Price (c) Andee's first journal. Am really amused at my ten year old self, somewhat embarrassed by her silliness, yet proud of her overall spirit. Also a little startled to find some of the same patterns of my life currently have played out when I was younger too. Am also really amused by my own horrendous cursive and thankful that it doesn't look like that anymore. :)
It's also a little cool to have the only two years that show up in my Calendar view be 2003 and 1988.
Meet 10 year old Andee

seven is my lucky number . . .
Jun. 17th, 2003 11:58 pmboy I've been prolific today.
Anyway, I was just reading over some of the rules for livejournal and thinking a little bit about the "backdate entry" option, and briefly had the idea of transcribing my old paper journals into here. I'm not sure what purpose it would serve, except that it would be amusing and also because at least two of them are falling apart. I don't know what interest anyone would really have in Andee - ages 10 - 17 or even Andee struggling to keep up with journaling post-college, but there are some amusing, some painful moments in this oddity called my life that might be good to have electronic backups of. Not to mention it was a bitch crossreferencing entries then, and now it's a matter of a hyperlink. I'm not thinking of getting rid of the paper ones mind you, but . . . it's a thought, and an interesting one.
