I get to spend my day pooping like a gorram accident. *sigh* stupid colonoscopy.

At least I have lots of stuff to keep me busy. Sunny brought me Kushiel's Scion from the library so I immediately dropped everything I was reading and am now about halfway through that and liking it so far. It's weird, reading a Kushiel book that's not told by Phedre, but interesting, as we get an idea of her through other people's eyes. Not to mention a closer look at House Shahrizai, which I must admit more than a passing fascination with. My lego model is coming along very nicely, though ordering the bricks to actually build it when the time comes is going to be murder.Still haven't figured out how to add more bricks to LDD, which is occasionally frustrating, as I know the bricks are available. But in the process I found a site that catalogs every sort and color of brick Lego ever made and links to sellers that have them. already I've found a bunch of parts I need for my model. so that's making me happy. and thanks to Remote Desktop I have actual work to do as well. So at least I won't be bored as well as miserable today.

Also, I'd like to register a complaint with the gods. Not the usual one, even. More like why, on the night before I have to have a camera stuck up my butt, does it have to me the one night I rather desperately want to go to Haven? Not only is [livejournal.com profile] stormcloud spinning, but there are rumors on the wind of an appearance by [livejournal.com profile] bluewindkitsune... and [livejournal.com profile] morlock's going, which is a rare thing. *sigh* *pout* *grumble* The universe hates me.

Bwah? I just finished Dart last night, and I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around that concept. (I'm also having trouble keeping myself from going into my BMan funds to buy the next two paperbacks....)

bless thy local library!

seriously? they're worth owning. :) It's rare to find good fantasy that seemlessly works in all sorts of kink and make it plausible. ;)
