Feb. 8th, 2009 04:49 pm- Holy shit. It's almost warm enough out there to have me considering cracking a window. Granted this also means that there are puddles the size of Puffers Pond (and probably just as toxic from what I hear, lol) in Northampton's parking lots where all the ice is melting in one fell swoop.
- Either I got more coordinated in the past four years, or DDR for consoles is a lot easier than the machines in the mall. I'm seriously considering getting an xbox360 just so I can play it when I'm in NY. Well, okay, also cause I wanna play Bioshock too. Though I could always play that on my compy, but my computer monitor is a lot smaller than Dad's TVs (yes, that counts the HD monstrosity in our living room). The hilarious part is I can totally see Dad being HIGHLY entertained by watching me narrowly avoid falling on my ass playing this. That and I'm pretty sure I can get Ruthy into it as well.
- There was a #3 here, but I forgot it. So instead, I'll just state that I've had a NOS, will probably be having coffee in the next hour or so, and will probably be running around the house when I get back doing chores at Mach 3 and cackling like Margaret Hamilton. Whee.
Called Dad to wish him a happy father's day. Apparently he also has been having cell phone issues roughly concurrent to mine.
He VERY GLEEFULLY informed me that he is now in possession of a brandy new Blackberry (I wasn't kidding about the gadget love, people).

Jun. 13th, 2008 12:24 pmBut I have decided that THE present I want for my birthday is an iPhone 3G. It's coming out next month, but I'm thinking if I get one in October, the price'll have dropped a bit, and any bugs that crop up'll be addressed.
in other news, I am stuffed with the barbecue. Another score for the we like summer camp - Gary the butcher at Serio's grilling up hambugers and dogs on Fridays. Nom.

Jun. 6th, 2008 10:59 amYa know... that black smegma I have to chip out and off of my various computer mice with a qtip and my fingernails is quite possibly one of the grossest substances known to man. It's seriously right up there with earwax and belly button lint. And this from the girl who obsessively cleans her mice once a week, if not more... I hate to think about the insides/undersides of other people's mice.
YAY - EPEEN2 has arrived in New England as of 6:49 am. (Damn I love package tracking!)
BOO - No one's gonna be around to sign for her today. Right, looks like they'll be trying again tomorrow.
no real news... somewhat amused by the OMGWTFANNANICOLE explosion across LJ... *shakes head* ya know... thousands of people die every day in fucked up circumstances with nary a blip and one B-list celebrity kicks off and suddenly the switchboards light up and the traffic breaks the internet. Still I feel sorry for her. She's gotten shat on from day one, and now leaves behind a five month old little girl. Course I can't help thinking, where are Madonna and Angelina Jolie when you need them, and then I remember oh hai, this kid's pale, they aren't interested. ;)
K, I'd better stop now before I descend thoroughly into snarky madness. I'm also desperately praying that I don't get called in tonight. I really don't want to have had gotten up at 6:45 only to have to close concession until 11:30. Yeesh.
