i swear, every winter I swear I'm going to buy a floor sander. Why you might ask? To get the dead dry skin off my feet.

of course saying that conjures upall sorts of horrible sketch comedy potential about various tools and substances you can use for health and beauty care that you can find at Home Depot. Stranger things have happened - hell, Vaseline was discovered when oil riggers started spearing the petroleum by product on their burns... And think about what other things WD40 can loosen up!

Okay, you know what? on that note, it is officially my bedtime.

So this is what you do, take a nightly bath (shower will do but bath helps soak in the water), lightly pat dry your feet and apply a liberal amount of Vaseline to them, and put on a pair of white cotton socks. Do it for like 4 days, you will notice a difference.

I was just about to post something similar to this!!

Use a pumice stone to help take off the worse of the dry skin, and then coat your feet with eucerin lotion (to the point you can still visibly see the lotion) and then put on a heavy pair of socks overnight.

Of course, I hate sleeping in socks, so I don't really follow my own advice. But Eucerin cream (and LOTS of it) is the best thing in the world for dry skin.

He's right. You can also just soak your foots in a bucket of lovely warm soapy water a coupla nights per week while you watch tv or whatever, get yourself some good foot cream that claims to help with callouses and such and invest in a good scraper. I need halfway decent feet for business reasons, I'm tempted to find a local footslave for massage and maintanence...

One of the many things I was trained in...My ex still comes by and begs for a foot& back massage. We won't talk about the hair washing.

That's really icky when you think about it. Also, my sister and I were really grossed out by the part when they open up the container and dump all the nasty pieces of skin right into a trash can...that has no bag/liner. Ew ew ew.
